All Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 Kits To Feature Anti-racism Badges This Weekend
All Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 shirts will bear a special anti-racism badge this weekend as part of a campaign led by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP). To further emphasize the message, the shirts will also feature a black and white tinted LFP badge.
Referees, coaches, delegates, officials, and journalists will wear special armbands and pins, and soccer club logos on social media will be changed to black and white. The ceremonial elements on the pitch, such as competition flags and corner posts, will also be in black and white, and a prominent sign that says "Let's get rid of racism" will be displayed.
The players' shirts worn during the matches will be sold on the MatchWornShirt platform, with proceeds benefiting four anti-discrimination associations.
