While production of the FC Barcelona 24-25 home kit has been in full swing in the last few weeks, no home kits for the 2024-25 season have been dispatched from Nike's Thailand factories. This is very unusual, as Nike's new season home shirts are usually shipped by now.
Footy Headlines has images of freshly produced FC Barcelona 2024-2025 home kits, which are ready to ship.
It usually takes 30 to 45 days to ship from Asia to Europe. After arriving in Europe, shirts have to be distributed across Europe, which usually takes another few weeks. This makes it well possible that shirts won't arrive in time for the May release.
At least player shirts could arrive in time
To make sure that shirts arrive in time, Nike and Barcelona might have to agree on a faster way to ship the jerseys to Europe. This would be by air, which is much more expensive. Otherwise, the Barcelona 2024-2025 home kits could not be available for purchase in May 2024.
Meanwhile, Nike has taken steps to at least gear up FC Barcelona's first team in time for the upcoming 2024-25 season by placing an order for the production of players' clothing. Factories operated by Nike in Thailand are slated to commence production of the initial player stock orders at the start of April. The player shirts then certainly get sent by air.
