OFFICIAL: Adidas Liverpool Kit Deal Started - No More Nike

  • Partnership Change: Liverpool has officially switched from Nike to Adidas as their official kit partner, starting August 1, 2025.
  • Financials of the Deal: The new multi-year Adidas deal is worth more than £60 million per season, exceeding Nike's previous payment, and includes incentives based on sales and on-field performance.
  • Contract Details: The Adidas deal spans five seasons, from 2025-26 to 2029-30, and aims to align Liverpool's earnings with other top Premier League clubs through increased revenue.

Update: It's finally August 1, 2025, and right at 12:00 AM, Liverpool has updated their website to feature the Adidas logo as the official partner. The launch of the Adidas Liverpool 2025-2026 home and away kits is scheduled for this morning.

Update: The Anfield is being prepared for the start of the Adidas deal on 1 August 2025, with the white "Nike" seats being replaced by the Adidas ones. The work was completed today. Thanks to @CarlitosMaidana for the image.

Update: Confirming the previous reports, Liverpool and Adidas have officially announced a multi-year partnership that will see Adidas once again become Liverpool's official kit partner from the 25-26 season, replacing Nike.

The partnership between Liverpool and Adidas will be effective from 1 August 2025. This means that the Adidas Liverpool 25-26 home kit will be launched on 1 August.

Update: The new Adidas Liverpool deal is set to be worth more than 60 million GBP per season, more than what Nike paid (£30m per year + 20% royalty on all net sales). There is no exact figure on the deal due to the incentivized nature of the contract, which includes sales and on-field performances, as reported by the Times.

Liverpool's 2025-26 products are already appearing in Adidas data. The club will part ways with Nike after the 24-25 season (Summer 2025), and is, of course, not present in the Nike Fall/Winter 2025 offering.

Liverpool Adidas Kit Deal

Liverpool's current deal with Nike runs until the end of the 2024-25 season. Liverpool did not renew the contract and signed a new deal with Adidas. It will be the third time Adidas will make Liverpool's kits. The last time was for the period 2006-2012.

The new Adidas Liverpool deal runs for five seasons, from 2025-26 to 2029-30. The new deal will be worth more than what Nike currently pays Liverpool (£30m per year + 20% royalty on all net sales of merchandise other than footwear).

Adidas secured the contract after winning a competitive tender process, surpassing bids from Nike and Puma. Liverpool anticipates the new deal will bring its earnings in line with other top Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea, whose kit deals also generate between £60-65 million annually.

Billy Hogan, chief executive officer at LFC, said: “Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family. We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time."

Graphic genius @lfcdzn11, for Footy Headlines, has imagined how the Adidas logo could look on the stands of the Anfield Stadium.

The boot issues add to a growing list of durability concerns for Puma during the 2026 tournament. Multiple national teams, including Morocco, Egypt, Paraguay, and Czechia, have experienced torn jerseys during match play.
