Puma to Make Kits for 6 Teams in 2024-25 Bundesliga Season

In the 2024-2025 season, Puma will outfit six Bundesliga teams, including three new teams: Leipzig, St. Pauli, and Holstein Kiel (the latter two gained promotion).

Among the new additions to Puma's roster is RB Leipzig, a club previously under Nike's banner. It is Puma's second German Champions League team after Dortmund in Germany.

Additionally, cult club St. Pauli joins the Puma family through a newly inked deal, after the club made its kits in-house for the past few years. The last Bundesliga newcomer to Puma's portfolio is Holstein Kiel, who gained promotion for the first time in its history.

It's an unexpected major success for Puma

For Puma, producing kits for six Bundesliga teams was an unexpected major success. Heidenheim, Kiel, and St. Pauli were all second Bundesliga teams when signed.

No other brand will supply more than three teams next Bundesliga season. Nike likely has three teams as the second-placed brand, while Adidas only has two.

While this expansion marks a significant milestone for Puma, it's not a record for Puma in the Bundesliga. However, it was long ago. In the 1990-1991 season, Puma boasted sponsorships with seven Bundesliga teams.

Puma's record are 7 teams, dating back to the 1990-1991 season
