Bayern München 25-26 Oktoberfest Kit: Different Numbers on Match & Store Versions
- Oktoberfest Kit Difference: Bayern München's 2025 Oktoberfest kit has different number designs between match-worn shirts and the retail version.
- Bundesliga Regulations: Bundesliga rules prevent the official Oktoberfest logo from appearing on the numbers of match kits, requiring a special Wiesn edition of the club crest instead.
- Store vs. Match Version: The store version of the kit includes the Oktoberfest logo on the numbers, while the match version features a special club crest due to Bundesliga regulations.
Bayern München’s 2025 Oktoberfest kit features a small but notable difference between the shirts worn in matches and the retail version sold to fans. Huge thanks to our follower Kay for the spot.
Bundesliga Does Not Allow Printing the Official Oktoberfest Logo on Numbers
On the store version, the numbers include the official Oktoberfest logo at the bottom. However, Bundesliga rules only allow a club crest (or part of it) inside the numbers. As a result, Bayern’s match kits use a special Wiesn edition of the club crest instead of the Oktoberfest branding.
Store Version
Bundesliga Kit Rule 10.6: The numbers may contain a club emblem (or part of it) in the lower part of each digit, which must not be larger than 5 cm².
This explains why Kane’s No. 9 looks slightly different depending on whether you see it in the store or on the pitch.
