Köln 27-28 Home Kit to Pay Homage to 2007-08 Jersey

1. FC Köln's 27-28 home shirt will celebrate a major milestone in modern club history. In cooperation with Inside Müngersdorf, we can reveal that the Billy Goats and Adidas are planning a special jubilee design for the 2027-28 season to mark 20 years of REWE as the club's main shirt sponsor.

While the exact final graphics for the upcoming shirt remain under wraps, the new Adidas Köln 2027-28 home jersey will take direct inspiration from the iconic 2007-08 look. That kit featured a clean white body framed by prominent contrasting red shoulders and sleeves, finished with three stripes along the raglan cut.

This stylistic nod means supporters should see significantly more red incorporated into the primary look compared to the predominantly white 26-27 home kit. The 2007-08 campaign was not only the first season REWE took over the chest of Köln's kits, but it was also a memorable season on the pitch as the club secured promotion back to the Bundesliga.

In addition to the home kit direction, a long-sleeve option is reportedly planned by Adidas for Köln's 27-28 lineup, though current indications suggest that long sleeves will be reserved for the away shirt rather than the home kit.
