Adidas is set to release a series of highly anticipated Spezial collections for three of its top UK clubs: Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Celtic. All three clubs have begun teasing the collaboration, confirming a launch date of 16 October 2025. Thanks to @TheShirtUnion & @FootballTrikot.
The Adidas Spezial line, curated by Gary Aspden, is known for its deep dive into the brand's archives, bringing back classic and terrace-inspired silhouettes with a premium finish.
Adidas Spezial 2025 Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Celtic SPZL Shoes & Collection
Each of the three trainers is a customized version of a classic Adidas silhouette, decked out in the iconic colors of the respective clubs and featuring unique branding.
- Aston Villa SPZL F.C.: The Villa edition features a premium maroon suede upper contrasted by sky blue leather Three Stripes and heel tab. The classic gum sole and a custom tongue patch complete the timeless terrace look.
- Newcastle SPZL F.C.: Newcastle's trainer has a classic black upper with crisp white Three Stripes. The shoe proudly displays the famous Newcastle United club crest on the tongue and is finished with a gum sole.
- Celtic SPZL F.C.: The Celtic version comes in the club's iconic bottle green suede, accented with white leather Three Stripes and heel tab. A dark gum sole provides a classic finish.
Full Collections Releasing This Week
Alongside these stunning trainers, each club's Spezial collection will feature a range of premium lifestyle apparel. Fans can expect retro-inspired jerseys, track tops, hoodies, and other accessories to complete the look.
Following the 2024 Spezial Releases
This move follows a similar, highly successful project from last year. In October 2024, Adidas released popular Spezial collections for Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, and Aberdeen. The new drop with Newcastle, Villa, and Celtic shows this is becoming an annual tradition for select Adidas clubs with a strong heritage and passionate fanbase.

Asteras Tripolis 26-27 Kits Released
Greek Super League club Asteras Tripolis (officially known as Asteras AKTOR for sponsorship reasons) has unveiled its new 26-27 home and away kits. The new strips are manufactured by Nike in a continued partnership with Intersport.
The Nike Asteras Tripolis 26-27 kits are based on Nike teamwear templates. The home kit is yellow and blue based on the Precision VII model, while the away kit is navy blue with thin yellow/gray stripes, based on Nike's custom mid-tier model.
In addition to the standard home and away options, the club has announced that a special third kit for the 26-27 season will follow shortly. This upcoming third jersey is designed to highlight Asteras Tripolis's long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and is expected to be officially revealed in the coming days.
Mansfield Town 26-27 Third Kit Released
League One side Mansfield Town have officially revealed their new Erreà third kit for the 26-27 season. The launch also includes the introduction of a corresponding goalkeeper third kit.
The Erreà Mansfield Town 26-27 third shirt introduces a vibrant pink design. Fans can purchase the new Erreà Mansfield Town 26-27 third and goalkeeper kits starting at 10:30 am on Sunday, 2 August 2026, at the club's Open Day.
AC Horsens 26-27 Home Kit Released
The new AC Horsens home kit was unveiled today, ready for the upcoming Danish Superliga football season.
The Hummel AC Horsens 26-27 home jersey introduces a bespoke design tailored specifically for the team. As per the club, it is a new interpretation of the legendary Fængslet jersey that AC Horsens played in the 2015-2016 season; the 2026-2027 edition has vertical stripes in black and yellow with white as a separator.
