Some weeks ago, there was a huge controversy regarding Reebok's deal with the Israeli national football team. Now, in Israel's 0–5 loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying, fans noticed subtle but significant changes to the team’s Reebok kit.
Israel Alters Reebok Brandings on Kit
The Reebok logo appeared without the Reebok wordmark and was flipped from its original orientation, while the logo on the shorts was moved to the side. Additionally, the Israel FA’s ball emblem was added to both the shirt and shorts.
By flipping the Reebok logo, Israel seemingly responds to Reebok's request not to have their logo on Israel's kit. The solution is, however, surely a strange one, as a flipped logo... is still Reebok, just flipped - something Nike makes with its logo for Travis Scott shoes, and nobody would not see the Swoosh.
