Adidas to Make Schalke Kits Until 2031

Initially, the deal signed in 2021 after Schalke's relegation to the 2. Bundesliga was set to run until mid-2027, bringing in around €1.5 million per season. The revised contract now sees an increased base payment of approximately €2.5 million annually, with further increments planned should the club achieve Bundesliga promotion.

Schalke's CEO Matthias Tillmann expressed pride in continuing the "trusting partnership," highlighting improved economic conditions and a commitment to unique and recognizable kit designs. 11teamsports will also remain as the exclusive finishing partner.

Importantly, as part of the deal, Schalke will get three completely individual jerseys per season, as well as more special Adidas collections in the merchandising area. Schalke currently only receives a bespoke home shirt and half-custom away/third kits.
