Gremio Announces New Balance Kit Deal - No More Umbro

  • New Kit Deal: Grêmio has signed a five-year deal with New Balance for their kits, starting in 2026 and lasting until the end of 2030, replacing Umbro.
  • Kit Design: The initial New Balance Grêmio home kit will maintain the club's classic blue, white, and black stripes but will incorporate a gradient effect at the bottom.
  • Exclusivity Change: New Balance's previous nationwide exclusivity agreement with São Paulo FC will end in December 2025, enabling them to partner with Grêmio, although regional exclusivity prevents deals with other clubs in the state of São Paulo.

Grêmio officially announced that New Balance will make the club’s kits in a five-year deal, valid until the end of 2030. New Balance replaces Umbro.

GrêmioSign With New Balance for 2026 Until End of 2030

According to early information, the first New Balance Grêmio home kit will keep the club’s traditional blue, white, and black stripes but introduce a gradient effect in the lower section. Despite the brand switch, production will remain under the same operator, the Dass Group, which manages both Umbro and New Balance in Brazil.

The move also ends New Balance’s period of nationwide exclusivity with São Paulo FC. That clause expires in December 2025, allowing the brand to add a second team in Brazilian football, though regional exclusivity still prevents deals with other clubs in the state of São Paulo.
