A year and a half after the launch of the Tiempo Legend 10, Nike has officially introduced its successor: the next-gen Nike Tiempo Maestro. From the end of the "Legend" era to a massive soleplate overhaul, here is the full breakdown of the differences between the Tiempo 10 and the Tiempo Maestro.
1. The Name: End of an Era
The most obvious change is the branding. After 10 generations, Nike has officially dropped the 'Legend' suffix. The new boot is simply called the Tiempo Maestro, marking a new era for Nike's longest-running silo.
Regarding the hierarchy, Nike has confirmed that a "Ligera" version will be released. It remains to be seen if Nike will revert entirely to the classic naming system (Maestro - Ligera - Mystic - Natural) or stick with the modern Elite - Pro - Academy system, but the return of the "Ligera" name suggests a strong nod to heritage.
2. The Soleplate: A Radical Change
Visually, the biggest functional change is found on the bottom of the boot. The Tiempo Maestro introduces a completely new two-piece split soleplate construction, moving away from the traditional one-piece plate found on the Legend 10. This design is reminiscent of older Mercurial models, prioritizing responsiveness.
The stud configuration has also been tweaked. The Maestro features two central studs in the forefoot, compared to the single central stud on the Legend 10, promising improved traction.

T90-Inspired Nike Barclays WSL 26-27 Ball Released
Nike and the Women's Super League have officially revealed the official match ball for the 26-27 Barclays WSL and WSL2 seasons. Built on Nike's Control ball model, the design draws heavy inspiration from Nike's iconic Total 90 era, bringing a retro-infused visual identity to top-tier English women's football.
The design features vibrant multi-coloured rings and graphic lines in red, pink, blue, and black against a white base.
