Special Adidas F50.6 Tunit "Leaked"? - Spotted on Messi's Feet

  • Messi Spotted Wearing Mysterious Boots: Lionel Messi was seen in Inter Miami training wearing whiteout Adidas boots, speculated to be a modernized version of the Adidas F50.6 Tunit.
  • Adidas F50.6 Tunit 2026 Edition: The new boots are based on the original F50.6 Tunit from 2006 but feature updates like a streamlined lace cover, thinner Three Stripes resembling claws, and a new soleplate.
  • Adidas' Tunit Revival: Adidas is reviving the Tunit line, including re-releasing iconic models and potentially creating a hybrid "F50.6 Future" model blending retro aesthetics with modern technology, aligning with their 2026 strategy.

In a surprise development from Inter Miami's latest training session, Lionel Messi has been spotted wearing a completely mysterious pair of whiteout Adidas boots. While there is no official word yet, visual evidence suggests this is a special, modernized version of the iconic Adidas F50.6 Tunit.

Special Adidas F50.6 Tunit 2026 Edition

The new Adidas F50.6 Tunit 2026 boots are clearly based on the silhouette of the original F50.6 Tunit from 2006, but with significant updates to suit the modern game.

The iconic lace cover (tongue) is present, but it appears to have been tweaked and streamlined compared to the bulky original version.

The most striking design element is the branding. The Three Stripes on the side are much thinner and less "chunky" than the 2006 original. They feature a sharp, aggressive design that resembles a set of "claws," giving the boot a sophisticated and deadly aesthetic.

While the upper screams "Retro," the bottom of the boot tells a different story. The soleplate appears to be a completely new tooling from Adidas.

It is highly likely that Messi is testing the new outsole for the Next-Gen Adidas F50 2026, which is scheduled to be released this summer. Adidas often disguises new tech testing by pairing it with retro-inspired uppers to hide the final design features.

The Year of the Tunit

This spotting makes perfect sense in the context of Adidas' 2026 strategy. The brand is currently in the middle of a massive "revival" of the Tunit line:

  • They recently re-released the iconic F50.6 Messi "Chameleon".
  • We reported that an 'Electric Yellow' F50.6 Tunit remake is also on the way.

It seems Adidas is not just remaking old boots, but potentially creating a hybrid "F50.6 Future" model that blends the 2006 aesthetic with 2026 performance technology.

Do you like the look of this modern F50.6 Tunit prototype? Would you like to see this "Claw" design hit the market? Let us know in the comments below.

No More Nike: Adidas Croatia 2026 Training Kits Revealed

Following their switch from Nike to Adidas, Croatia's new training kit set for 2026 have been unveiled in the latest training camp for youth teams' goalkeepers.

However from what we've seen, both of the new jerseys are simply from Adidas Tiro 26 League template range, using default black and grey color choices. These are very likely just temporary options for the mean time, until the actual designs with probably bespoke colorways are officially released.

What do you think of the new Adidas Croatia 2026 training kits? Let us know in the comments below.

FC Barcelona 26-27 Third Kit Font Leaked

Following the leak of FC Barcelona's 26-27 third kit, kit expert @memorabilia1899 has provided a first look at the custom typeface that will feature on the back of the jersey. The bespoke font design continues Nike's trend of pairing unique typography with its high-profile club kit releases for the season.

The typography features a sharp, geometric design with clean blocky angles for the player numbers, rendered in dark navy blue and bordered by a bright red outline. The player name is printed in arched, bold sans-serif lettering using the same color scheme, perfectly matching the teal body and red trim of the shirt.

This custom typeface will be worn on Barcelona's 26-27 third kit during cup fixtures and selected league games where customized fonts are permitted. The contrasting red outline gives the player names and numbers clear visibility against the light teal graphic backdrop.
