Zealand is currently managing UD Melilla in his Football Manager 26 save. The Spanish club is uniquely based in Melilla, a Spanish exclave located on the African continent, and competes in the Segunda Federación, the fourth tier of Spanish football.
Participants are tasked with designing either a home or away kit for UD Melilla. The winning designs will be used in Zealand’s ongoing Football Manager 26 playthrough.
Competition Format & Prize
Two winners will be selected. One will be decided via the traditional Swiss-style tournament format used by the Kit Creators community, while the second will be chosen directly by Zealand and FKC administration. One home kit and one away kit will ultimately be selected.
Both winners will receive a full year of Kit Creator Plus Ultimate tier membership.
Design Rules
In contrast to many other Kit Creator competitions, the rules of the Melilla Kit Competition allow for much freedom. Designers can use any brand, front-of-shirt sponsors are optional, and any colors and sleeve patches are allowed. The kits only need to feature the Melilla logo.
Background
UD Melilla currently wears kits made by Macron. The club traditionally plays in blue home kits with white accents, while away kits are usually solid red or feature red and black stripes. Melilla del Deportes is the current shirt sponsor.
