OFFICIAL: Footy Headlines & Kit Creator Announce Massive World Cup Heritage Competition - 11 Designs, 8,000 USD in Vouchers & Royalties For Each Sale

Last week, we teased that "The Biggest Ever" was coming to the Kit Creator design community. Today, the wait is finally over.
Footy Headlines is incredibly proud to announce that we are officially partnering with Kit Creator and bespoke jersey design studio Comma Football to launch the ultimate design tournament: the World Cup Heritage Kit competition.
The Theme: World Cup Heritage
Comma Football is renowned for producing stunning, high-quality jerseys that celebrate special footballing moments, legendary players, and unforgettable eras.
For this massive competition, the focus is entirely on the biggest stage of them all. Designers will be tasked with creating bespoke concept kits honoring the most iconic teams and players from World Cups past.
The Biggest Prizes in Kit Creator History
But we are also taking things to the real world.
An incredible 11 winning designs will be officially selected to be physically reproduced and sold by Comma Football. Even better? The winning designers will receive set royalties for their physical kit sales.
The Prize Pool:
- Physical Production: 11 winning kits manufactured and sold globally.
- Royalties: Winners earn a cut from the sales of their designs.
- Vouchers: A massive 1,000 AUD (approx. $700 USD) gift voucher to the Comma Football online store for each of the 11 winning designs.
- Upgrades: Kit Vision tokens and Plus Ultimate Kit Creator memberships are also up for grabs.
A Revamped Competition Format
Because the stakes are so high, the standard Kit Creator competition format is getting a massive overhaul.
To give designers the best chance at victory, the World Cup Heritage competition will allow up to three submissions per user. Furthermore, the standard quick-turnaround time is being extended, giving creators a full two-week submission phase to perfect their retro masterpieces.
The competition will officially kick off later this week.
