Following the launch of the Mexico 2026 World Cup third kit and its accompanying capsule collection, Adidas and Mexican lifestyle brand Someone Somewhere have teamed up once again to drop a spectacular, hand-embroidered edition of the jersey.
This special release serves as a powerful testament to their commitment to artisan communities, traditional craftsmanship, and the irreplaceable cultural identity of rural Mexico.
Hand-Embroidered Adidas x Someone Somewhere Mexico 2026 Third Kit
The hand-embroidered Adidas x Someone Somewhere Mexico 2026 World Cup third kit uses the authentic, long-sleeve version of the new third jersey as its canvas.
The front of the shirt has been beautifully elevated with hand-embroidered graphics inspired by the vibrant fireworks used during traditional festivals in the Naupan community.
To complete the bespoke look, the artisans also meticulously hand-stitched the iconic Three Stripes in the sleeve badge area, creating a seamless and fully integrated aesthetic down the arms.
The sheer scale of the craftsmanship behind this project is staggering. More than 150 indigenous female artisans from Naupan, located in the Mexican state of Puebla, were tasked with bringing their traditional embroidery techniques to the jerseys.
Over the course of 15 months, these talented women invested more than 165,000 hours of hand embroidery and used over a million meters of thread. Each resulting piece is unique, representing time, technique, and a deeply personal story worth admiring.
Each uniquely numbered jersey arrives in a custom rectangular tin box. This packaging is a direct and clever nod to the familiar habit of Mexican grandmothers and mothers storing their sewing kits inside empty cookie tins.
Due to the immense time and labor required for each shirt, this release is strictly limited to just 2,026 pieces globally - a perfect tribute to the upcoming World Cup year.
The hand-embroidered jersey is officially available starting May 18 via someonesomewhere.mx, as well as at physical Someone Somewhere stores in and around Mexico City.

AC Milan 26-27 Away Kit Leaked - New Images
Footy Headlines can leak a new picture of the Milan 26-27 away kit. It features a phoenix wing pattern, symbolizing rebirth and rising from the ashes.
This detail pays tribute to AC Milan’s resurgence in the Champions League during the mid-2000s. After suffering a dramatic comeback defeat to Liverpool on a rainy night in Istanbul in 2005 and losing the Champions League title, Milan rose stronger than ever. They went on to defeat the same opponent in the 2007 final in Athens, reclaiming the Champions League crown.

Cerro Porteño 2026 Third Kit Released: 1990s Puma Remake
Puma has officially unveiled the new 2026 third kit for Paraguayan Primera División side Cerro Porteño. The release leans heavily into nostalgia, offering a direct modern recreation of one of the club's most beloved vintage shirts from the late 1990s.
The new Cerro Porteño 2026 third shirt is built on a white base, sharply contrasted by solid dark blue sleeves and vibrant red detailing on the classic polo collar and sleeve cuffs. The most prominent design element is the large, sublimated grey graphic covering the front and back of the torso, which faithfully replicates the stylized "CP" monogram watermark found on the original 1999 kit.
The 2026 third kit serves as a great tribute to the famous "Pinturas Renner" era.

Viktoria Köln 26-27 Third Kit Released
German 3. Liga side Viktoria Köln has officially unveiled its new third kit for the 2026-2027 season. Produced by Joma, the new release embraces a deeply nostalgic "Viktoria-Vintage" aesthetic to celebrate the club's roots. This launch also marks a significant off-pitch reunion, as the team will once again feature the logo of the ETL-Gruppe across the chest, welcoming back their long-time former main sponsor for the upcoming campaign.
The Joma Viktoria Köln 26-27 third shirt opts for a classic black and white color palette that leans heavily into retro football fashion. Both the Joma manufacturer logo and the Viktoria Köln club crest have been modified to perfectly match the monochrome aesthetic, blending seamlessly into the design. To complete the vintage look, the jersey is equipped with a traditional polo collar, purposely designed by the club to function equally well as a stylish lifestyle piece for fans to wear casually away from the pitch.
The new Viktoria Köln 2026-2027 third kit is currently available for pre-order via the club's official online store, with physical deliveries expected to begin in late June.
