The new Puma Girona 26-27 home kit features the classic red and white vertical stripes as its primary base, highlighted by the notable return of blue to the team's home color palette.
Over the past four campaigns, the German sportswear brand heavily played with Girona's traditional look, frequently dividing fan opinion. Supporters have seen a mixture of horizontal and vertical bands in 2022-2023, a wide half-and-half stripe variant in 2023-2024, a radical wavy checkerboard pattern in 2024-2025, and minimalist, heavily spaced pinstripes for the 2025-2026 season. While these creative designs undoubtedly stood out on the pitch, many traditionalists have been actively hoping for a straightforward return to the club's standard historical aesthetic.
This vivid blue serves as a strong contrasting accent, applied cleanly to the crew-neck collar, the outer sleeve cuffs. The red and white stripes run uniformly down the torso and the lower section of the back.
The upper back is rendered in a solid red panel to house the player names and numbers, topped with the traditional Catalan Senyera flag centered just beneath the neckline.
