Czech Republic to Leave Puma for Adidas After 33 Years

In a monumental shift in the landscape of international football sponsorships, the Czech Republic national team is set to sign a new kit deal with Adidas. Footy Headlines can confirm previous local reports.

This upcoming agreement marks the end of one of the longest-running and most recognizable supplier partnerships in global football. The Football Association of the Czech Republic has decided to part ways with its only partner ever yet, allowing the Three Stripes to successfully swoop in and secure the rights to outfit the national squad for the foreseeable future.

The departure from Puma represents a massive historical break for Czechia. Ever since the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, Puma has served as the sole kit manufacturer for the independent Czech Republic national team.

The Three Stripes will soon adorn the traditional red, white, and blue colors of the Czech squad. Given Adidas's recent track record of delivering bespoke, culturally inspired national team designs, expectations will be incredibly high for their inaugural Czechia collection.
