Popular design tool FIFA Kit Creator (also known as EAFC Kit Creator) has officially introduced HDRI lighting support to its 3D kit builder, giving designers 16 advanced environmental lighting options to showcase their custom kits.
16 HDRI Lighting Presets Available in Kit Creator
The implementation of High Dynamic Range Image (HDRI) lighting brings a noticeable leap in realism to 3D kit previews. Instead of flat, uniform studio light, the new presets simulate authentic real-world environments with accurate ambient reflections and directional light sources. Options include bright daylight skies, warm studio setups, and dramatic industrial interiors, allowing creators to see how fabric textures, glossy prints, and metallic club crests react under varying lighting conditions.
HDRI lighting is especially useful if you add metallic effects to logos, for example. You not only see a flat reflection, but a reflection that reflects what you would see in real life. Recreating the hologram Adidas 2026 crests worked nicely.
The feature also extends across sister tools such as the Basketball Creator and the brand-new American Football Jersey Creator, making it easier than ever to produce realistic renders for EA Sports FC, eFootball, College Football and NBA 2K.
