Simple Edits Transform the Bournemouth 26-27 Shirts into Pleasing Designs
Hummel delivered nice home, away, and third kit designs, yet the vibrant pink sponsor badge creates a massive color clash that completely disrupts every single shirt's aesthetic. We created two simple edits demonstrating how easily the design could have been saved. By dropping the circle entirely in favor of standalone script lettering, the jerseys instantly transform into good-looking kits.
Indeed, many other brands rely on their "signature" colors, but not on every kit. For example, BVB sponsor Vodafone keeps its logo all-white for the BVB home kit, while relying on its red color for the away and third kits.
While the high-contrast pink logo succeeds in grabbing attention, it might not be positive for the brand's reputation. Many now connect Vitality with being cheap, not contemporary, when it comes to branding.
