The Napoli 26-27 centenary icon features a golden design with the N from the club logo in the center, with the text Cento. It remains to be seen how this Icon will be used - we might see it tinely on the kit.
Return of the Corsiero del Sole?
Even more interesting is that Napoli's teaser suggests that they bring back the "Corsiero del Sole" (white rampant horse). This rearing horse was the club's very first symbol in 1926, originally appearing alongside the letters ACN and a football. It was famously replaced by the "ciuccio" (donkey) following early struggles on the pitch, but the taser strongly suggests that the Neapolitan horse will return to the visual ecosystem to mark the 100-year milestone.
It remains to be seen if the Napoli 26-27 kits will feature the regular crest or retro badges. We expect the team to use the first logo at least for a special centenary kit.
