In a first for a pro football club, as per our understanding, Augsburg player Han-Noah Massengo took full creative charge of the launch of a new season kit.
The Augsburg 26-27 away kit features a rich petrol-green colorway with shimmering gold accents, paying homage to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Augsburg Water Management System and highlighting regional identity and sustainability.

Massengo was behind the lens as the creative director and lead photographer for the launch campaign. Following a successful photography exhibition of his own work earlier in the year, Massengo directed every aspect of the shoot - from styling and model selection to framing the final shots on location at Wolfzahnau, where the Lech and Wertach rivers converge.
We were at Augsburg's launch campaign and had the chance to speak to the 25-year-old, who revealed that he used to check Footy Headlines for upcoming boot colorways. We might make an interview with the Frenchman in the coming weeks/months.
