From Strict Uniformity to Custom Designs: Kit Fonts in Europe's Top 5 Leagues
Four of the widely regarded Top 5 Leagues have streamlined fonts - we take a look at the different fonts.
Premier League
The Premier League enforces the most rigid system, requiring all 20 clubs to use one official font with only five approved color options. This approach surely is very efficient, but it not only causes color mismatches in some cases but also prevents uniqueness altogether.
La Liga
In Spain's La Liga, standardized league-wide templates are also mandatory, though clubs are allowed to customize colors and crest details at the bottom of the numbers.
Serie A
The Serie A is the same as La Liga, but teams can add a bespoke pattern to the typeface, often used by teams.
Ligue 1
France's Ligue 1 takes flexibility a step further, allowing teams to choose from three different typefaces. For special occasions, teams are allowed to have a unique kit font. PSG, for example, has used various fonts during “Le Classique,” including Gothic in 2024–25, a Mandarin flocage for Lunar New Year and an Arabic script for the Trophée des Champions.
Bundesliga
By contrast, the German Bundesliga stands as the only league among the top five without a standardized nameset. The DFL grants clubs complete freedom to create bespoke names and numbers tailored to every individual shirt design. This allows teams like Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen to craft distinct typography, making the Bundesliga the final major holdout for bespoke kit lettering.
Como 1907 26-27 Home Kit Released With Shocking €125 Price Tag
Como 1907's new 26-27 home kit has arrived, but the price tag is intense. The Italian club is charging €125 for the home jersey, which is €25 more expensive than the standard Adidas retail price of €100. While Como is asking €125 at its own official outlets, Adidas should sell the exact same kit for the standard €100 price through its own retail channels (but without the sponsors, which some surely prefer).
The steep €125 price tag stands out even further when compared to previous releases. For supporters reluctant to pay such a high amount for the new 26-27 shirt, last season's home kit is available for half price at just €55 (full price was €110).
Manchester United 26-27 Third Kit - Close-Up Images
Manchester United's 2026-27 third kit has once again been spotted on sale in stores. Meanwhile, @jerseyreview has shared additional close-up images of the jersey, highlighting the special "Manchester United Football Club" detail on the back of the collar, inspired by the iconic Salford Lads Club.
Instead of the full brand name, only the distinctive Snapdragon fireball emblem is displayed on the chest, giving the shirt a minimalist aesthetic. This decision was probably made to better fit the central layout.

Almería 26-27 Third Kit Released
UD Almería and Macron have officially unveiled the club's new third kit for the 26-27 season. The fresh uniform stands out with a pastel lavender base complemented by solid black accents on the mandarin collar, sleeve cuffs, and lower hem trim.
The shirt's defining feature is an all-over sublimated marble-effect pattern inspired by the natural rock surfaces of the Cueva de los Letreros in Vélez-Blanco, the archaeological site where Almería's historic Indalo symbol was originally found. A recolored monochrome club crest and black sponsor logos complete the front design.
