Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 06 Mercurial Boot unveiled - In 2014 Nike celebrates the Mercurial Boot with remakes of the Mercurial World Cup Boots. The collection includes four Boots inspired by the Mercurial Football Boots worn during the World Cup since 1998. In the past months Nike unveiled the first two editions of the iconic Mercurial Boots, the Nike Mercurial 98M and the silver Nike Mercurial Vaporx IX 02M, which is not worn by many players on the pitch.
Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 06 Mercuial
This is the new yellow / green Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 2006 Mercurial remake.
Inspired by the boot worn by Ronaldo during the 2006 World Cup, the remake of the Nike Mercurial Vapor III Boot comes with the colors of Brazil. The mainly yellow boot features a green color gradient created with points, similar as the original 2006 edition.

The special Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 06 Mercurial Remake comes with the 06M logo and a silver tongue, while the colors are a bit more flashy compared to the original boot. The huge lettering Nike on the inner side of the boot is black. Today we are also able disclose the secret of the inner sole:

Ahead of the 2014 World Cup Nike will unveil the Nike Mercurial Vapor X Football Boot as well as the much awaited Nike Mercurial Superfly IV Boot. The next-generation of the Mercurial Superfly Boot comes with included sockliners and a carbon fiber outsole.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 06 edition is available from March 20. The 06 Mercurial will be worn by the most popular Mercurial players in the upcoming weeks.
