Ilkay Gündogan Joins Adidas
BVB midfielder Ilkay Gündogan becomes the latest players to join Adidas, after Arsenal striker Theo Walcott already left Nike for Adidas last month. Ilkay Gündogan will wear the Solar Red Adidas F50 Adizero 2015 Football Boots from now.
In the last couple of months, Ilkay Gündogan had been playing with a blackout version of the Nike Magista Obra Cleats fueling rumors of switching his boot supplier in 2015. Ilkay Gündogan had been wearing Nike Football Boots since 2011.

At the beginning of his career as Nuremberg player, Ilkay Gündogan already wore the Adidas F50 Adizero Cleats. When he joined Borussia Dortmund in Summer 2011, Ilkay Gündogan signed a boot deal with Nike to wear the Nike CTR360 Maestri Boot.
Adidas published a picture of Ilkay Gündogan with his new Solar Red Adidas F50 Adizero Boots with the lettering "Wer zu allen könnte, kommt zu uns" ("Who could join everyone, joins us").
Watch out for Ilkay Gündogan's Boots in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match against Juventus.

In Nike’s recently released "Rip the Script" campaign for the 2026 World Cup, renowned rapper Travis Scott was spotted wearing the Nike Phantom 6 “Cactus Jack” signature (TF version), a special edition designed for him.
He had previously worn the same boots while playing at the Nike Football TOMA event in December 2025.
The FG version of the Nike Phantom 6 “Cactus Jack” signature is also expected to be released soon.
