Made for ball control in any conditions, the unique golf ball-like appearance was ditched for the second-generation of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots.
Nike combines the upper with the trademark Dynamic Fit collar, which was also introduced for the Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Soccer Boots. Compared to the regular Nike Hypervenom Boots, Neymar's custom blackout Nike Prototype Boot features an enlarged area without NikeSkin for the tongue.
Traditionally, Neymar uses the sole plate and stud configuration of the Nike Tiempo Legend IV Boots instead of the standard outsole of the Nike Hypervenom.
