Real Madrid's Lucas Vázquez to Join Adidas?

Everything indicates that Real Madrid right winger Lucas Vazquez has joined the Three Stripes after he debuted the Solar Red Adidas X 15.1 Boots in Real Madrid's last league match against Celta Vigo.

Former Castilla player Lucas Vazquez, who joined Real Madrid this summer after he played one season with Espanyol, had been wearing Nike Mercurial Boots for his entire professional career. Interestingly, he still wore the Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots in last week's Champions League clash against French side Paris Saint-Germain.

Lucas Vazquez laced up in a non-modified version of the Adidas X 15.1 Soccer Cleats. Combining a ultra-light synthetic upper with a techfit collar, the Adidas X Boots are made for speed and agility. For ultimate traction, the Adidas X 15.1 Boot features a triangular stud pattern and a second-layer of traction inspired by tracking shoes. Vazquez wore the SG version of the Adidas X Boots.

After Adidas also managed to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas earlier this year, the German brand now supplies the boots for eleven players of Los Blancos. However, Adidas still can't keep up with arch rivals Nike. The US-giant produces the boots for 16 Real Madrid players (via Football Boots DB).

It's expected that Adidas will announce the signing of Lucas Vázquez in the coming weeks.
