New Balance or Nike? Mauro Zárate Trains in New Balance Visaro Boots

Will he join New Balance? West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate laced up in the New Balance Visaro Boots in West Ham United's training session on October 29, while he switched back to the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots for the Premier League clash against Watford City last weekend.

Mauro Zarate, who returned to West Ham this summer after he was loaned to Queens Park Rangers for half a season, has been already wearing three different boots since the pre-season started. While he played the first matches with the Wolf Grey Nike Mercurial Vapor X Cleats, he debuted a blacked-out version of the same boots in the Premier League match against Leicester City on September 22, while he returned to wear branded Nike Mercurial Boots as early as the next week.

Mauro Zarate laced up in a non-modified version of the New Balance Visaro Boots. Combining a Honeycomb upper structure with an external heel counter and a traditional stud configuration, the New Balance Visaro is made for players who create chances.

But what's more interesting are Mauro Zarate's blacked-out Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots. Using the striking Wolf Grey and Hyper Pink Nike Mercurial Boots as basis, the blacked out cleats worn by the Argentinian striker still boasted the Hyper Pink sole of the original colorway and stood out at least in one match.

As with the New Balance Visaro, Zarate currently also laces up in a non-modified version of the Squadron Blue Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots. Made for speed, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots feature a lightweight concept with a ultra-thin upper while providing acceleration through ultimate lockdown.
