Unique Next-Gen Adidas X 2016-2017 K-Leather Prototype Boots Leaked

The first picture of a prototype of the next-generation Adidas X 2016-2017 Leather Football Boots has emerged. And even though we already leaked the second colorway of the Adidas X 2016-2017 Kangaroo Leather Soccer Cleats, the leaked prototype is nevertheless very interesting.

Blackout Next-Gen Adidas X 16.1 Leather Prototype Boots

This the first leaked picture of the leather version of the Adidas X.

Boasting a stealth look, the next-generation Adidas X 2016 Leather Prototype Soccer Boot combines a high-ankle collar with a leather-like synthetic material in the heel area and super soft Kangaroo leather in the touch area. The boot has a special white lettering on the collar (We don't know what it means exactly), while there are no other non-black elements.

However, whereas the techfit collar and the leather upper seem to be identical to the retail version of the cleats, there is one thing that makes this prototype unique. The leaked blackout Adidas X 2016-2017 Leather Prototype Cleat comes with a imprinted stamp to resemble the look of the synthetic version, whereas the final edition of the next-generation Adidas X Leather Boots comes without the element but with a traditional stitching in the forefoot area.

While the upper is almost identical, the sole plates of the prototype and the final version have nothing in common. The leaked Adidas X Prototype Boot just features the outsole of the first-gen Adidas X, while the next-generation Adidas X 2016 Boots will come with a brand new outsole and an external heel counter for more stability and acceleration.
