Diego Alves was back between the sticks last weekend after he had been out with a rupture of cruciate ligament since the start of the season. And while Valencia finally won their first match with Gary Neville as coach, it were nevertheless the unique boots worn by Valencia's goalkeeper that caught the attention of our extraordinary follower @rockdiaz11, who already sent in quite a lot boot spots.

Diego Alves had been wearing Mizuno boots last season, while he returned to Valencia's training after his injury wearing branded versions of the Puma evoPOWER Boots and the Nike Tiempo Legend VI. However, while he used the Puma evoPOWER 2016 Boot in the last training session ahead of the match, he switched to camouflaged boots for the match against Espanyol.

Diego Alves laced up in the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 SG Boots. However, whereas the standard edition of the launch colorway of Nike's heritage boot comes with Nike brandings and striking orange details in the heel area, the 30-year old goalkeeper painted over those elements, creating an almost perfect camouflaged boot.

Unfortunately, as we have not found a picture of the sole plate of the boots used by Diego Alves, it's not possible to say for if he also managed to hide the bold brandings of the outsole of the Nike Tiempo Legend VI Boots.
