1860 Munich and Macron Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Bundesliga Championship with Special Kit
1860 München, currently playing in the second division, in collaboration with technical sponsor Macron today released a special jersey to celebrate the club's 1966 Bundesliga win, 50 years on.
1860 1966 Bundesliga Anniversary Kit
This is the special shirt released by 1860 München and Macron to commemorate the club's Bundesliga win 50 years ago.
Inspired by the 1966 kit, the 1860 München anniversary shirt is kept very simple. It is sky blue with white trim and a subtle, tone-in-tone Macron logo. Fittingly, a historic club crest is used instead of the contemporary one, while the upper back below the collar reads "Deutscher Meister 1966" (1966 German champions).
To round things off, the names of the title-winning team are stitched on the left hem, while a black and white team photo from back then is visible on a tag on the inside of the shirt.
Already available to purchase online and instore for €90, the kit will be worn in the 2. Bundesliga home game against Braunschweig later this month.

Schlotterbeck Deliberately Wears His Football Socks the Wrong Way Round
Borussia Dortmund and Germany defender Nico Schlotterbeck has a very specific habit regarding his matchday attire. The centre-back deliberately wears his football socks the wrong way round - the back is on the front, and the front is on the back.
In 2025, the Borussia Dortmund & Germany center back once told SPORT1 that this was one of his unique habits.
