West Ham Crest Consultation: "Forging Our Future"
Eligible supporters, including 26-27 season ticket holders, Claret & Blue members, recent match attendees, and bondholders aged 16 and over, have been invited to participate in an online survey that runs from August 20 to September 13, 2026.
The initial consultation asks fans whether the club should retain or change the current badge and gathers crucial input on which visual elements best represent West Ham's heritage and identity.
The club's current crest was introduced in 2016 to mark their move from the Boleyn Ground to the London Stadium. While it retained the famous crossed hammers, the redesign controversially added the word "LONDON" and removed the castle motif that had defined West Ham badges for over half a century.
Over the past decade, fan sentiment has frequently leaned toward restoring traditional elements or refining the look to better reflect the club's roots.
The feedback gathered from the ongoing survey will serve as the foundation for developing new crest concepts throughout the 26-27 season in collaboration with the Fan Advisory Board. Supporters will have the opportunity to review refined designs and take part in a decisive vote in spring 2027, with any newly chosen crest targeted to officially debut in 2028 ahead of the 28-29 campaign.
