Sporting KC Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Special Shirt Numbers & Pre-Match Shirts

Celebrating the club's 20th anniversary, Sporting Kansas City will sport special pre-match jerseys and back numbers inspired by the iconic 'rainbow jerseys' worn by the Kansas City Wiz in 1996.

Sporting KC will wear the white and silver third kit for the anniversary match. But instead of the usual light grey numbers, the team will don a special design, combining a black base with yellow, red, green and blue diagonal lines.

In addition, the black Sporting KC pre-match shirt for the game features the flamboyant rainbow design, as well as the original Kansas City Wiz crest on the left chest. A stylized 20, including the iconic design once again, is displayed on the left hem.
