Germany to Announce Record-Breaking Adidas Kit Deal
German newspaper Bild this morning reported that Adidas will continue to supply the Germany kits until at least 2022. Adidas and the German football federation are set to announce their new agreement on Monday, one day before Germany's last group stage Euro 2016 match against Northern Ireland.
Germany to Remain with Adidas Until 2022
Bild reports that Adidas has aced Nike out and will pay an estimated €65-70 million a year to make Germany's kit until at least 2022. This makes Germany the highest-paid international football team, with more than €30m / year on second-placed France. The newspaper did not reveal any further contract details, while reporting that more than 1.3 million Germany kits have been already sold this year.
