Rakitic Trains in Unreleased Next-Gen Adidas Ace 17+ Boots

The next generation of the Adidas Ace is coming closer, and with it the laceless high-end Ace 17+ MasterControl. Less than a month from its official reveal, Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic has become the first top player to give Adidas' new cleats a run-out on the pitch.

This is a close-up of the unreleased next-gen Adidas Ace boots worn by Rakitic.

Following in the footsteps of Adidas' first-ever contemporary laceless boots, the Ace 16+ PureControl, the upcoming Adidas Ace 17+ MasterControl features a laceless one-piece Techfit upper to minimize distractions and offer comfort and control.

The launch colorway of the Adidas Ace 17+ soccer cleats will be unveiled in late November before going on sale on December 1, 2016. They retail at $300, the same price as the 16+ version. Read more about them here.
