Cruzeiro 2016-2017 Third Kit Released
Brazilian powerhouse Cruzeiro and its English jersey supplier Umbro this Sunday launched a very clever third kit, inspired by the 50th anniversary of the club's first national title.
The 1966 Brazilian championship was played out in a cup format. In the final Cruzeiro defeated Santos, fittingly the opponent for the debut of the shirt on Sunday, with a global score of 9 to 4.

Inspired by the 1966 Brazilian championship win, the Cruzeiro 2017 third shirt features the club's traditional blue in a slightly pale, retro shade. Other than that, the Cruzeiro 2016-17 third shirt is kept clean and simple, with a notable feature being the use of the classic logo used by Umbro that year. It sits on the left chest, opposite of the club crest.
In addition to the player shirt, a fitting goalkeeper kit, yellow and blue, was unveiled as well.
