Mateo Kovačić has become the next player to train in the much anticipated next-gen low-cut Nike Hypervenom Phantom III soccer boots after Thiago, Harry Kane and Oxlade-Chamberlain were already spotted testing Nike's next-gen Hypervenom boots.

Kovačić's boots are not totally blacked-out but feature striking reddish-orange details around the laces, highlighting the main innovation of the boots (loops instead of holes for the laces for more lockdown). The Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 boot also brings a full-Flyknit upper to the low-cut agility boot that was previously called Hypervenom Phinish.

The next-generation Hypervenom also comes with an all-new sole plate with mainly chevron-shaped studs.
