REVEALED: France Will Never Wear Their New Black Third Kit
Yesterday, the Swoosh revealed a brand-new jersey for the France national team. Part of the special FFF Black Collection, the new France 2017 third jersey will be not worn by the players, we can reveal. It is the first time that France received a black kit.
France to Continue to Wear Only Home and Away Kits
France will still only wear their home and away jerseys in official matches.
The France 2017 third jersey is not going to be worn on the pitch by the likes of Griezmann and Pogba, but is instead aimed at celebrating supporter culture with a sleek black design. It was originally expected that the France national team would wear the jersey against Luxembourg or Spain later this month.
It is not known what are the exact reasons why the new France third kit will not be worn in an official game. In fact, the United States Women's national team already debuted the new Nike USA third jersey, and it is also expected that England will wear their third jersey in official matches. Brazil, however, will also not sport their new 2017 third kit in any game as the rules of the federation do not allow them to wear another kit than the yellow home shirt and the blue away jersey.
