Spotted this weekend by the always accurate abcdefutbol was Club América defensive midfielder José Daniel Guerrero, who basically "created" his own laceless version of the Turbocharge Adidas X 16.1 Leather.

Below you can get a closer look at the one-of-a-kind Adidas X boots worn by Guerrero.

Opting for the Turbocharge colorway of the Adidas X 16.1 Leather, Guerrero simply removed the laces to create something of a makeshift laceless edition of the model.

Thanks to the one-piece upper construction, a certain level of lockdown, at least enough for him to play in a competitive game, was guaranteed. Compared to the "laceless" X 16+ PureChaos, Guerrero's version actually offers a closer touch of the ball, thanks to featuring just the one upper layer.
