It looks like Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is set to join Adidas as he laced up in the latest Adidas X 17.1 boots colorway in Arsenal's latest training sessions. Danny Welbeck has been a Nike Hypervenom right from the launch of the agility silo in 2013.

Danny Welbeck, who laced up in Nike's Hypervenom Phantom boots in Arsenal's first pre-season friendlies, surprisingly wore Adidas X 17.1 cleats in Arsenal's last pre-season training session. His boots are identical to the retail version of the Adidas X 17.1 from the Dust Storm pack.
There has been no report yet about Welbeck's possible switch from the Swoosh to the Three Stripes, so it is not known if he has joined Adidas.
