Nike this week launched the seventh generation of the Nike Tiempo Legend football boot. Together with the release of the premium Kangaroo leather top-tier Nike Tiempo Legend cleats, the Swoosh also released the lower-tier models of the Nike Tiempo: Nike Tiempo Legacy III, Nike Tiempo Ligera IV and Nike Tiempo Rio IV.

Interestingly, there are only four different versions of the Nike Tiempo 2017 football boot as Nike ditched the middle-tier Nike Tiempo Mystiq football boot. Additionally, the brand replaced the Nike Tiempo Genio with the Nike Tiempo Ligera.

Nike Tiempo Legend VII - 190 GBP, 220 Euro, 230 USD

Retailing at €220, the Nike Tiempo Legend VII version is the version worn by Nike's best players. The cleat, which is available as FG, AG and SG version, features a ultra-soft Kangaroo leather upper, Flywire strings, a knitted Flyknit heel area and tongue, Nike Grip technology and Nike's Hyperstability sole plate.

Nike Tiempo Legacy III - 115 GBP, 130 EURO, 130 USD

The Nike Tiempo Legacy III soccer shoe is the second-best version of the Nike Tiempo 2017 cleat generation. The cleat has a Kangaroo leather upper with a knit heel (no Flyknit), Flywire cables that integrate with the laces for better lockdown and a Firm Ground sole plate that has a similar stud configuration as the Hyperstability plate of the Nike Tiempo Legend 7.

The best small-sided version of the Nike Tiempo, the Nike TiempoX Finale, is based on the Nike Tiempo Legacy III. The Nike TiempoX Finale 2017 soccer shoe combined the calf leather upper with a Lunarlon midsole and a white gum outsole.

The third-tier Nike Tiempo Ligera IV soccer cleat retails at €65. The cleat has a calf leather upper and webbed cables that integrate with the laces for added lockdown. The outsole of the boots is very similar but not identical to the sole plate of the second-tier Nike Tiempo Legacy 3 football boots. The Nike Tiempo Legacy III is available on NikeiD, unlike the Nike Tiempo Legend VII and the Nike Tiempo Legacy III.

The cheapest Nike Tiempo 2017 football boot available, the Nike Tiempo Rio IV soccer cleat features a synthetic upper with synthetic leather forefoot and a standard Nike FG outsole.
