Real Madrid to Sign Record-Breaking Fly Emirates Sponsorship Deal
Spanish newspaper Palco23 reports that Real Madrid and Fly Emirates have agreed a new sponsorship deal. The new Real Madrid Fly Emirates deal would be worth around 70 million Euro / season, surpassing FC Barcelona's Rakuten (55 million Euro / season) and Manchester United's Chevrolet deal (74.4 million USD (62 million Euro / season).
Fly Emirates' deal with Real Madrid was originally signed in 2013 for five years. The deal is worth 25 million Euro / season (up to 30 million Euro with bonuses).
Real Madrid to Renew Fly Emirates Deal Prematurely Until 2022
Real Madrid's new Fly Emirates deal has not been signed yet.
According to Palco23, the club didn't wish to wait until the current contract expired (2018) and therefore already agreed terms for the new contract. The new agreement will run until the end of the 2021/22 season.
The deal has not been officially signed by both parties yet, while the agreement also includes the training shirt sponsorship.
Next on the agenda for the European champions is to close on a renewal agreement with Adidas as the club's official sportswear manufacturer .Talks with the German company have already begun and it is suspected that a deal could be closed in the coming days. Real Madrid's objective on that front is to earn more than Barcelona did in their latest deal with Nike, a figure thought to be around 105m Euro.
