Real Madrid won the most important club trophy for the first time when UEFA founded the tournament as European Cup (1955). The Spanish giants won five European Cup titles in a row wearing classic and simplistic white jerseys. They won their first Champions League title after the six years after the rebranding of the competition as Champions League in 1998 wearing kits from Kelme.
In 2002, Real Madrid won the Champions League final against Bayer Leverkusen wearing their vary classic 100-years anniversary jersey. Since then, they won another four titles wearing their traditional white home kits with different accent colors.
