Kit Clash? Brazilian Club Palmeiras Changes Kits At Halftime
SC Internacional faced Palmeiras in the 21th matchday of the Brasileirão Série A, the first Brazilian league. However, while there were no goals in the match, the kits used in the duel caused quite a controversy.
Despite being the home team, SC Internacional debuted their brand-new grey third kit in the match, while Palmeiras wore their dark green home shirt. It was not easy to distinguish both teams, and so it was decided that Palmeiras should change their kit for the second half.
Palmeiras switched to their white away shirt for the second half, while Internacional kept their dark grey home kit. It was much easier to distinguish both teams after the halftime.
