SC Internacional Wants Nike To Release Sash Kit To Honor New Signing Guerrero

On Sunday, Brazilian club SC Internacional officially announced that they signed legendary Peruvian striker Paulo Guerrero.

Shortly after the announcement of the Guerrero transfer, the club relaunched the remake of the iconic SC Internacional Sash kit from 1954 that boasts the famous design of the Peru kit.

However, while SC Internacional already relaunched the classic 1954 jersey, it is the club's dream to bring back the very popular Nike 2015-16 SC Internacional away jersey. The shirt is white and features a red diagonal strip, in the same style as the Peruvian national team.

"In 2015, already with Nike, we used it in Maracanã. Ernando scored the only goal of the game against Flamengo. In the retro model, which is ready, and only reactivate. Then we will negotiate with Nike to enter the listing with the supplier," Rojas added in an interview with Globo Esporte.

It is important to note that SC Internacional will launch a quite unusual dark grey away shirt in the coming days. Nike had not planned to release a white SC Internacional kit before 2019.
