UPDATE: Designer Reimagines Nike Third Kits as Home Kits

Following the success of his initial Atlético and Barcelona concept, Javi has applied the same to Nike's other 2018-19 third kits. Check them all out below - some are absolute belters.

In an interesting experiment, graphic designer Javi Guallar has created home kit concepts for Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona based on the club's current third kits.

Basically simply replacing the pink of Barcelona's third jersey with blue and red, it's a rather shocking look for the Catalan club, possibly even worth than the upcoming checker design we'll see next season.

Atletico's home kit concept, on the other hand, works much better - thanks to the fact that the third kit already features striping similar to the home. Anyway, we prefer the actual Atletico home shirt and would like Nike to go with something more straightforward once in a while - as we're set to see next season.
