Manchester City Unveil Updated Font to Celebrate Chinese New Year
Earlier this month, Manchester City unveiled a special-edition update on their font to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Instead of adding names in Chinese letters to the back of the shirts, this tribute is in the form of a subtle gold pattern that's applied to the regular font. Since the design is based on the club's own font, which is only allowed to be used outside the Premier League, we likely won't ever see it on the pitch.
However, the club have made a number of shirts featuring the one-off design available to buy via their store.
Man City join the likes of Barcelona, Inter and PSG, who all wore shirts with Chinese prints over the last week.
