2019-20 Serie A Kit Battle - Italian Brands Macron & Kappa Dominate, One In-House Brand

The Italian Serie A has been an exception in terms of kit suppliers in the past few years, with Italian brands making the majority of the jerseys of the league. The 2019-2020 Italian Serie A kit battle reveals that Italian brands again dominate their home market, at least in terms of numbers of teams supplied.

Similar to previous years, brands from Italy make the jerseys for more than half of the teams - 12 of 20 Serie A teams are equipped by an Italian brand in 2019-2020. Macron makes the jerseys for six teams, while Kappa follows second with four teams. Lecce, who gained promotion to the first division, have decided to make their kits in-house - their jerseys are manufactured in China by the club's brand M908 (from "1908", the year in which US Lecce was founded).
The most important and successful clubs (except Lazio & Napoli) are, however, again sponsored by the big global brands - Juventus (Adidas), AC Milan (Puma), Inter, AS Roma (both Nike).

Erzurumspor 26-27 'Palandöken', Home & Away Kits Released
Turkish club Erzurumspor FK have unveiled their new kits for the 26-27 season, manufactured by Umbro. The collection includes the 'Efsane Çubuklu' (classic striped), 'Gökbörü', and the standout 'Palandöken' kit, which has garnered significant attention for its unique local inspiration.
The Umbro Erzurumspor 26-27 Palandöken jersey features an elegant ecru base color, paying homage to the famous Palandöken mountain located in Erzurum. The design incorporates subtle mountain-themed graphics that blend seamlessly with the sophisticated color palette, creating a classy and bespoke look for the Süper Lig side.
Completing the set for the 26-27 campaign are the Efsane Çubuklu and Gökbörü shirts. The Efsane Çubuklu serves as the traditional striped kit, while the Gökbörü kit offers an additional alternative for the upcoming season.
Reebok Estoril 26-27 Away Kit Released - No More Kappa
Following the launch of their home kit and the start of a new technical partnership with Reebok, Portuguese side Estoril Praia has officially unveiled its new away kit for the 26-27 season. Replacing Kappa, the new Reebok design introduces a unique concept dubbed Marginal por Natureza. The kit pays tribute to the Estrada Nacional 6, commonly known as the Marginal, which is the iconic coastal road connecting the region to the Atlantic Ocean.
The Reebok Estoril 26-27 away jersey features a striking pattern that blends the grey of the asphalt with the blue-green tones of the sea and the white of the ocean foam. It comes with a high V-neck collar, which serves as a subtle reference to the triangular shape of the club's crest. Adding a modern touch, both the Estoril badge and the Reebok logo are applied in an iridescent grey finish that shifts color depending on the lighting.
Further bespoke details complete the Reebok Estoril 26-27 away shirt. The sleeves feature the word Marginal applied in a stealthy black-on-black print. On the back, the club's traditional wave motif has been replaced with a graphic tracing the curves of the N6 road.

Asteras Tripolis 26-27 Kits Released
Greek Super League club Asteras Tripolis (officially known as Asteras AKTOR for sponsorship reasons) has unveiled its new 26-27 home and away kits. The new strips are manufactured by Nike in a continued partnership with Intersport.
The Nike Asteras Tripolis 26-27 kits are based on Nike teamwear templates. The home kit is yellow and blue based on the Precision VII model, while the away kit is navy blue with thin yellow/gray stripes, based on Nike's custom mid-tier model.
In addition to the standard home and away options, the club has announced that a special third kit for the 26-27 season will follow shortly. This upcoming third jersey is designed to highlight Asteras Tripolis's long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and is expected to be officially revealed in the coming days.
