Nike FCSB 19-20 Home Kit Revealed

  • Kit Launch: FCSB officially unveiled their new 2019-2020 home kit.
  • Design: The jersey is red with a pixelated camouflage pattern, which the club says represents a "Red Giant" star, though some could see it as an homage to the club's ties to the Romanian Army.
  • Kit Details: The kit is completed with red shorts and blue socks, and the kit was created by Nike.

The new FCSB 2019-2020 home kit was officially presented by the Romanian club today.

Nike FCSB 2019-2020 Home Jersey

This is the new Nike FCSB home football shirt for 2019-20.

The FCSB 2019-20 home jersey is red with a pixelated camouflage pattern, a style that could be interepreted to pay homage to Steaua's history as the official club of the Romanian Army. The club, however, claim that it's inspired by the red heat of a 'Red Giant' - a bright star in the last stage of its evolution that is meant to highlight FCSB's "maturity and potential, but also the expectations in the new season."

It's an interesting and possibly provocative choice because FCSB, how the club formerly known as Steaua Bucharest is officially called, is in conflict with the Army over the ownership of the Steaua brand. The club had to be renamed in early 2017 and the Army has its own team, CSA Steaua, which plays in the fourth division.

Red shorts and blue socks complete the new Nike Steaua Bucharest 2019-2020 home kit.
