For SS Lazio, the agreement would signal the end of their partnership with Japanese manufacturer Mizuno. Lazio signed a five-year deal with Mizuno back in 2022 worth around €5 million per season, which is set to conclude at the end of the 26-27 campaign.

While Castore and nostalgic candidate Umbro were linked with the Rome club earlier, Hummel quickly advanced to the front of the queue to secure the Biancocelesti contract.

In Portugal, the move would see FC Porto conclude a long-standing 12-year partnership with New Balance. The American manufacturer has supplied kits for the Portuguese giants since the 2015-16 season, when it took over from subsidiary brand Warrior Sports.

Securing Porto would mark one of Hummel's most significant club signings in years, placing the Danish brand back in the upper echelons of Portuguese and continental football.

Hummel has been steadily building momentum across Europe in recent seasons, expanding its portfolio with prominent partnerships that include Werder Bremen, Real Betis, AFC Bournemouth, and the Danish national team.

Adding both Lazio and Porto from the 27-28 season would cement a prominent presence in both Serie A and the Primeira Liga while restoring the brand's iconic chevrons to regular European competition.
