Futuristic Nike England 2019 BHM Jersey Does Feature Too Many Nike Logos

The Nike Nike England 2019 BHM football shirt is not forbidden because of its colors or its graphic design but because of the many variations of the Nike branding on it. UEFA kit rules only allow one manufacturer identification not exceeding 20cm² on the chest.

So, if Nike would do it just with the graphics and without the many Nike brandings, would Nike get green light by UEFA? We do not think so as UEFA kit rules also state that contrasting graphic elements are not allowed.

The UEFA kit rules also state a few other "strange things". In example, no more than two (club) logos may feature on a club's shirt. Therefore, AS Roma had to change their third kit for the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League.

England was allowed to wear the Nike BHM UK shirt ahead of the matches against Czech and Bulgaria earlier this month in training as the rules do not apply there. We are not sure if the rules apply to pre-match gear.

All in all, it can be said that UEFA kit rules make it easy to forbid a kit for UEFA and hard for a manufacturer to experiment or innovate.
